Endelig kommer Bill Frisell til Maijazz! Han har vært en av verdens ledende gitarister siden 1980 tallet så det er på høy tid at Maijazz publikummet får oppleve denne eminente gitaristen. 2 år med pandemi har dessverre gjort ventetiden enda lenger. Nå er han klar for Maijazz 2022. Bill Frisell har vært første valget som gitarist med storheter som Paul Simon, Jan Garbarek, David Sylvian, Arild Andersen, Elvis Castello og Marianne Faithfull for å nevne noen.
